What Shall Come Forth

It isn’t an easy path. Did we say it’d be smooth sailing all along your way?

No, but there are glimpses along the way of your wishes coming true.

Hold out for these streams of light that will find their way through the clouds.

Even in the darkness of night, we are sprinkling seeds of such visions

To come to your mind through your heart while you rest

And so, life brings its many challenges, you seek to see these seeds sprout

As they will, given that you attend to them, providing them pure water,

Bringing them out to soak in the rays of whatever sunlight can reach,

And giving them thoughts of care, to nourish as does the soil.

Growing forth, effort by effort, transforming into creations coming forth.

Oh but we hear your aching and we feel your pain and we see your tears

As these plants sometimes wilt, sometimes are stunted, sometimes don’t appear

It is all too much to say to have hope in the seeds, when you can’t even hold them,

When you can’t know what will become will bring you any greater joy than today.

Though we will say that we are here, and we will give you strength.

It isn’t all for nothing, and you haven’t done nothing, for even in stillness you are much

And yet sadness falls, and yet frustration rolls in on your shores,

Your core is pierced with your fears and you lose patience with yourself

Can these seeds ever grow, you ask, and am I failing in bringing them forth.

My dear, my love, much is possible, in each new day, just as the sun shall dawn,

Though the path is twisted turned and sometimes rubbed away, you will find your way.
